Program Quality Assurance

We’re excited to announce a new approach to program implementation that provides more flexibility to customize your PLTW program(s) to best meet the needs of your students and school. We believe these changes will allow schools to increase student access to PLTW's engaging applied learning experience.

Our new approach only requires your school to offer at least one module, unit, or course taught by a trained PLTW teacher. You’ll also need to use the most current version of our curriculum. This allows you to grow your PLTW program(s) in the way that best meets the needs of your students and school.

PLTW High School Courses and

MSOE University Credit

As the PLTW WI Affiliate, MSOE grants transcripted college level credit for high school PLTW courses.

MSOE grants credit to schools with the stipulation that credit is granted to students that:

-       receive a stanine score of 7 or higher on the End of Course (EOC) exam

-       receive a final course grade of B or higher

What does this mean for WI Schools: if you currently meet the old requirements for certification (3 courses) you will be eligible for credit until you receive the “Access” Recognition Level (“grandfathered” in)
